Bond Forfeiture Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare, file, distribute, provide information and maintain all appropriate documents processed in Bond Forfeiture as needed. Assess and collect appropriate fees using CATS and JWEB. Assist walk in customers as well as phone customers in a professional manner. Accomplishes section objectives in accordance with standard operating procedures and policies of the District Clerk's office. Requirements: All applicants must register and complete the HRT Clerical Skills Test with a minimum score of 80% with a typing speed of 35 W.P.M. and 80% accuracy. Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must possess computer skills in the following applications - Windows, Word, and Excel. Must be detailed oriented. Must be able to balance cash and check transactions. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maneuver, including lifting, climbing a ladder and moving a minimum of thirty (30) pounds. Must be capable of working under stress and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to work without direct supervision, have excellent analytical decision-making, prioritization and organizational skills. Must be capable of numeric filing. Must be able to work overtime without prior notice and work flexible hours as required. Must be eligible for employment in the United States. Testing will be required. 80% Grammar/35 WPM at 80% accuracy. NOTE: Qualifying education, experience, knowledge, and skills must be documented on your job application.
