Overview
DB E.C.O. Responsibilities
Lead certain segments of projects and interact directly with clients, translating strategic goals into well-defined implementation plans.
Participate in preparing proposals and pursuits, including development of project methodologies, budgets and schedules.
Perform business technology research and quantitative analyses, coordinate studies, lead workshops, and create effective communication/presentation materials.
Execute specialty project tasks with attention to quality, budget and timely delivery.
Instruct and supervise Analysts and Consultants on projects.
Leverage the technical knowledge and expertise of DB E.C.O. North America in consulting projects.
Support the development of client relationships, identify opportunities for future engagements, and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
Three or more years of experience in management consulting and familiarity with the management consulting approach.
At least 5 years of related experience with consulting for railway projects, focusing on rail strategic transportation planning, urban planning, operations planning, route management, etc.
MBA, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in any discipline with demonstrated academic excellence and capacity to engage in specific industries or topics.
Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently; quick grasp of new concepts and ability to produce results.
Passion for tackling complex challenges in mobility and railway transportation.
Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
Experience using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analyses and quantitative models.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions and Travel The selected candidate will be assigned full time to a specific project and is required to work on-site in the Sacramento office. Over time, there may be opportunities to support additional projects with hybrid arrangements and limited home-office flexibility. Minimal overnight travel by land and air may be required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a computer workstation for periods up to 4 hours at a time.
Ability to speak on the telephone for up to 3 hours per day.
Ability to sit for up to 3 hours without breaks at meetings.
Ability to walk and stand for up to 4 hours without breaks at program site visits and meetings.
We offer an annual gross salary between
$115,000 and $149,000
+ bonus (USD) for full-time employment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
