Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate one or multiple concurrent management consulting projects and teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and adherence to scope and quality, resulting in high client satisfaction. Lead teams and drive successful delivery of consulting projects in the railway and transit sector, including O&M, stations, revenue generation, and customer experience. Follow management consulting industry best practices in planning and executing projects, and in interactions with teams, clients, internal stakeholders, and partners. Ensure projects align with company goals and strategies to support business priorities. Help clients improve business and organizational performance and develop and implement new business strategies. Contribute to bids/proposals, including cost estimates and project plans. Perform business technology research and quantitative analyses, coordinate studies, and lead workshops. Leverage Deutsche Bahn’s railway subject matter experts in relevant consulting projects. Foster collaboration across departments to ensure successful project completion. Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise and mentor junior staff. Requirements

MBA, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in any discipline with demonstrated academic excellence and the ability to engage with and excel in rail/transit topics. Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting and familiarity with the management consulting approach. Experience managing and developing direct reports. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently; quick to grasp new concepts and deliver results. Passion for tackling complex challenges in mobility and railway transportation. Several years of experience in the rail and transit sector; understanding of O&M, commercial, and customer experience; experience with railway stations is a plus. Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analyses and quantitative modeling. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required. Working Conditions and Travel

The selected candidate will be assigned full-time to a specific project and work on-site in our Sacramento office. There may be opportunities for hybrid arrangements and limited home-office flexibility. Minimal overnight travel by land and air may be required. Physical Requirements

We offer an annual gross salary between

$150,000 and $180,000

+ bonus (USD) for full-time employment, depending on qualifications and experience.
