What We're Looking For:
Previous dental assisting experience preferred (RDA is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately in EMR systems.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with medical records management.
Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for patient management.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess: Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards. Experience in pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, or other relevant specialties. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding. Hands-on experience with chairside assisting, 3D scanners, and medical imaging techniques. Previous dental clinic experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
