We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of various automotive systems, including diesel engines, electrical systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). If you have dealership experience and a passion for vehicles, we want to hear from you Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and brake repairs. Repair and service automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, alignment, suspension, shocks & struts. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for accurate repairs. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs. Assist with auto estimating and provide recommendations for additional services when necessary. Stay current with automotive technology advancements and best practices. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with diesel engine repair and air brake systems is preferred. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and wiring diagrams. Ability to work with various tools including hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and standards. Experience in auto body repair is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships. Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
