Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in dealership settings being a significant advantage. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers' vehicles. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair. Repair and replace components of automotive systems such as transmissions, powertrain, suspension, and alignment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs on vehicles. Work with automotive electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality of all electronic components. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repair. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with dealership operations is preferred; experience with GM vehicles is a plus. Proficient in reading schematics and performing auto estimating. Experience in welding and auto body repair is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices, including shocks & struts, air brakes, and automotive repair techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues. Strong communication skills to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license is required.
