We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service while ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and transmission work. Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. Work on diesel engines, powertrains, suspensions, alignments, shocks & struts, and other critical components. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers clearly. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus, particularly with vehicles. Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and air brake systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and perform diesel engine repairs. Experience in auto body repair is advantageous but not required. Competence in auto estimating for timelines. Welding skills are beneficial for certain repair tasks.
