We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Duties Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and helping with banquet setups. Ensure that all dishes are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas. Monitor dishwashing supplies and communicate needs to management. Support other kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as needed. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
