Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling. Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that all dining areas are tidy. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as required during special events. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service times. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation standards in the kitchen. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations. Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous but not required.
