Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using proper knife skills. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting shortages. Participate in regular cleaning tasks to uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen area. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
