We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving various vehicle issues. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all automotive services. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and alignment services. Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems and powertrain components. Interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components for effective repairs. Provide accurate auto estimating for service recommendations to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Qualifications Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required, preferably in a dealership setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Experience working with transmissions and other critical vehicle systems is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
