Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues across a variety of vehicles, including GM and diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest quality of work. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake replacements, alignments, and other routine services. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately. Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as needed during repairs. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair status. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Experience Previous dealership experience is preferred, showcasing familiarity with automotive service standards. Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic in an automotive setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and equipment. Experience with auto estimating processes for repairs is advantageous. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for certain repair tasks. Knowledge of diesel engine repair is beneficial but not mandatory.
