Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to operate various CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in producing high-standard components. Duties Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using G-code, M-Codes and Esprit programming software. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with lean manufacturing principles. Assist in assembly tasks as needed, including the use of hand tools and power tools. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in CNC programming (Fanuc preferred) and CAM programming. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes. Familiarity with plastics injection molding is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Experience with electrical discharge machining is advantageous. Knowledge of tooling, assembly techniques, welding, and forklift operation is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
