Overview
Job shop seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, machining, and precision measurement. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in the fabrication of parts and components. Duties Operate and set up CNC milling machines, to produce precision parts. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and tolerances. Program CNC machinery using Fanuc controls and CAM programming software. Apply GD&T principles to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform assembly tasks as needed, using hand tools and power tools for various projects. Engage in continuous learning about new technologies in machining, including electrical discharge machining and plastics injection molding. Experience Proficient in CNC programming with experience milling operations. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. Familiarity with CAD software for part design and modification is preferred. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. Experience with tooling setup and adjustment for various machining tasks.
