Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all facilities are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in maintaining a safe and productive environment for all staff and customers. Duties Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs and maintenance on programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and facilities. Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with residential painting projects as required. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally. Experience Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of equipment. Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of tools such as an ohmmeter. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when required. A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact positively with staff and clients.
