Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical work, and general maintenance practices. The Maintenance Person will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment while providing excellent customer service. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications Interpret schematics to diagnose problems and implement solutions Execute residential painting projects to enhance facility aesthetics Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly Skills Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair various equipment types Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on safety standards Familiarity with welding processes and techniques Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Customer service orientation with a commitment to quality work Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset Competence in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about maintenance work and possess the required skills to apply for this exciting opportunity.
