Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure the efficient operation of machinery. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols. Duties Set up and operate injection molding machines for production runs. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and repairs. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles. Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for assembly tasks as needed. Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse environment. Operate forklifts safely for materials handling when required. Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and quality inspections. Qualifications Proven experience in plastics injection molding or related manufacturing processes. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and CNC machinery is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques. Experience with quality inspection methods and tools, including calipers and micrometers. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Previous warehouse experience is an asset, along with knowledge of materials handling practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
