Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests through attentive service, menu knowledge, and effective communication. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality service. Process payments accurately through cash handling procedures and basic math skills. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest relations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
