You’ll be leading an IT team and projects within the Client portion of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program. Our client is a 300 person consulting organization that needs an internal leader that has been through several successful CMMC compliance audits. The IT team is a staff of 4. We are seeking a highly experienced Manager to lead and deliver strategic IT initiatives within a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who brings technical depth, enterprise-level project management experience, and a strong track record of consistency and longevity in previous roles. You’ll be responsible for driving high-impact technology projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support mission-critical engineering and operations. Lead end-to-end management of complex IT projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery across the full project lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver tailored IT solutions. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to meet project objectives and timelines. Ensure all projects adhere to enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards. Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues as they arise. Align project goals with broader IT roadmaps and organizational strategies. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences to maintain alignment and transparency. Required Qualifications: Must eligible for active DOD secret clearance – requires US Citizenship Must possess CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification—required to validate expertise in Cisco technologies in enterprise settings. 7+ years of IT management experience, with demonstrable success managing complex, enterprise-scale projects. Experience with the following technologies is highly preferred: Active Directory, MECM, SCOM, Device Deployments, Citrix VDI, EntraID, Intune, Exchange, M365, SCOM, Teams, SharePoint Proven experience working in hybrid cloud or enterprise network environments. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer candidates local to the DMV Area Bachelor’s Degree in a technical and/or related field Familiarity with IT systems and bringing a company to CMMC Compliance.
