Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled

Bankruptcy Paralegal

to join our client's Miami office, providing support to attorneys across both the

Miami and Houston

offices. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile, complex

Chapter 11

matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. After an initial 90-day onboarding period, this position will offer a

hybrid work schedule . Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all phases of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases from inception to confirmation and post-confirmation. Draft and file petitions, schedules, SOFAs, notices, motions, proofs of claim, and other court documents using CM/ECF. Conduct research using PACER and other court databases; maintain case dockets and calendars. Manage case files and organize documentation related to filings, hearings, and deadlines. Coordinate with clients, courts, and trustees on case matters and ensure accurate communication flow. Support preparation for 341 meetings, hearings, and trials including preparation of exhibits and summaries. Track deadlines and ensure compliance with all applicable court rules and procedures. Maintain billing records and ensure timely and accurate time entry. Qualifications: Minimum

3 + years of experience

as a paralegal with a strong focus on

Chapter 11 bankruptcy

matters. Deep understanding of federal bankruptcy rules and procedures. Proficient in CM/ECF, PACER, and Microsoft Office applications. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a high volume of tasks with precision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Paralegal certificate preferred, bachelor's degree a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, though not required. What’s Offered: Competitive compensation and benefits package.
