St. Ambrose University is seeking a highly organized and professional
Executive Assistant to the President . This full-time role provides essential administrative support to the President and the President's Office, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient communication, and effective coordination of meetings, events, and outreach efforts. The Executive Assistant will serve as the President's liaison with faculty, staff, students, Trustees, and external partners, demonstrating the highest level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism. This position plays a key role in supporting the President's calendar, correspondence, and travel, supporting Board of Trustees activities, and organizing presidential events and initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the President's Office with discretion and professionalism Coordinate the President's calendar, meetings, communications, and travel Serve as the primary liaison between the President and internal/external constituencies Support Board of Trustees meetings and related activities, including logistics and recordkeeping Oversee office budget, invoices, and monthly reconciliations Plan and manage presidential events such as donor receptions, university gatherings, and community functions Collaborate with the Advancement Office to support donor and alumni relations Draft correspondence, reports, and remarks for the President Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 6 years of relevant experience Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Exceptional administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment Proficiency in Microsoft 365, calendaring systems, and office technologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of St. Ambrose University Why Join Us?
