A K-12 educational setting is seeking a dedicated Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, itinerant position will serve ages 0-22 years old and requires in-person work, providing comprehensive instructional support across multiple locations within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, supporting their academic, social, and communication development. Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state requirements and student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, families, and support staff to provide integrated services. Utilize appropriate assistive technologies and communication methods, including sign language proficiency. Travel effectively between various educational sites to maintain consistent service delivery. Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching credential or certification relevant to Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with students ranging from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 0-22). Strong knowledge of hearing loss-related instructional strategies and habilitation techniques. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and family engagement. Ability to work independently and manage itinerant caseload efficiently. Work Schedule and Location: Full-time position with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Contract duration: August 6, 2025 to June 4, 2026. In-person role requiring travel between locations within the service area.
