This position is for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for the 2025-2026 school year. The role is full-time, itinerant, and serves students aged 0 to 22, providing specialized instruction and support in an in-person setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, from August 6, 2025, through June 4, 2026.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across grades K-12. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs. Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to enhance student learning and communication. Conduct assessments and monitor student progress regularly. Provide consultation and training to classroom teachers as necessary. Travel between sites to support students in their assigned locations. Qualifications: Valid teaching credentials for Deaf and Hard of Hearing or equivalent certification. Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across a broad age range. Strong knowledge of communication methods, including American Sign Language (ASL) and auditory training. Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload effectively. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Location: Watsonville, California (in-person work required).
