Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within K-8 classrooms
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
Utilize assistive technologies and effective communication strategies to enhance student learning
Monitor and report student progress regularly
Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching credential with certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education
Experience working with K-8 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Strong knowledge of auditory-verbal techniques, American Sign Language (ASL), and related communication methods
Ability to work independently and manage itinerant assignments effectively
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
