Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, addressing fine motor, gross motor, and sensory integration needs Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student goals within the school environment Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student functional performance Provide clear documentation and maintain compliance with school regulations and therapy standards Support and mentor strong Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) assigned to the caseload Qualifications & Desired Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with relevant healthcare and school-based experience Skilled in both in-person therapy delivery; this role is not open to virtual or teletherapy services Experience with home health, teletherapy, or healthcare OT settings is a plus but the focus will be on school-based therapy Proficient in addressing fine motor and gross motor skill development Familiarity with managing and collaborating with COTA staff in school environments Location: Tucson, AZ Benefits: Full-time contract position with a clearly defined term through the school year plus an additional academic year Opportunity to work with a strong team of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants Engaging K-12 caseload fostering professional growth within school occupational therapy Qualified therapists ready to contribute to student success in Tucsons educational settings are encouraged to apply for this rewarding occupational therapy role.
