An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in K-12 education. This contract position is based in Picacho, AZ, with a start date ASAP and extending through the end of the school year, with potential continuation into the next school year. The role requires hands-on, in-person therapy delivery and is not open to virtual or teletherapy arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Utilize expertise in fine motor and gross motor skill development to support student progress. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans. Monitor and document therapeutic outcomes and adjust interventions as needed. Engage directly with students in school settings, providing in-person assessments and therapy sessions. Qualifications & Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license appropriate for school-based services. Experience providing occupational therapy in school settings and familiarity with related regulations. Proficiency in healthcare OT practices, including home health and teletherapy, though this role requires in-person services. Strong skills in fine motor and gross motor therapies, along with experience working effectively with COTAs. Ability to manage a full-time caseload with organizational and communication skills.
