A K-12 school in Everett, WA is seeking qualified professionals to provide specialized support for students with visual impairments. The ideal candidate will either hold dual licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) and Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) or the school will consider two part-time professionals covering the respective roles.

Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive instruction and support services to K-12 students with visual impairments according to individual education plans. Provide orientation and mobility training to enhance students' independence and navigation skills. Collaborate with educational teams, families, and allied professionals to tailor interventions that meet each students unique needs. Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to promote successful educational outcomes. Maintain accurate records and participate in related meetings and evaluations. Qualifications: Current Washington state licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) and/or Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS). Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments. Ability to work on-site, providing services in person throughout the school environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to serve TVI duties three days per week and OMS duties two days per week.
