Were seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to support students/patients in Silverdale. You will: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess motor, sensory, and functional needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct therapy targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living (ADLs), handeye coordination, and self-regulation.
Integrate evidence-based interventions including sensory integration, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate clients using standardized assessments in school, clinic, or home settings. Design individualized treatment plans with clear goals to enhance independence .
Provide direct therapy in individual or group formats, working on daily living, school readiness, and work/functional tasks
Collaborate with educators, parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and context-rich intervention
Train clients and support staff in the use of adaptive equipment (e.g., splints, AAC devices)
Document progress, maintain case notes, and manage billing and compliance in school/clinic systems
May supervise occupational therapy assistants or aides as needed
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid Washington State OT license (required for school positions).
Strong knowledge of pediatric/adolescent populations, school-based practice, sensory integration, and assistive technology.
Experience using assessment tools and implementing OT interventions in educational or outpatient settings.
Excellent communicator, team player, and culturally responsive to student/client needs.
Preferred
Experience in school settings or home health services.
Familiarity with Washington educational frameworks (e.g. Functional Behavior Assessments, IEP goals).
Experience supervising OT assistants or supporting interprofessional teams.
