An opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to work within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is for the full school year and is located in Bridgewater, NJ.

Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Utilize appropriate technology and teaching strategies to support communication and learning. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, staff, and service providers. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning. Qualifications: Certification in teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Experience working in K-12 educational settings. Strong knowledge of assistive technology and communication methods such as ASL or cued speech. Ability to develop and implement individualized instructional plans.
