A K-12 educational institution in Kent, WA, is seeking an experienced Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) to support students with visual impairments. Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary reports. Provide support and education to families regarding mobility and safety techniques. Qualifications: Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS or equivalent). Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of instructional methods tailored to students with visual disabilities. Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
