We're seeking a dedicated school psychologist to join our innovative remote education team, providing comprehensive psychological services to students in virtual learning environments. This remote opportunity offers 36 hours per week supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in virtual educational settings. You'll maintain a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering essential psychological services including evaluations, counseling, and behavioral interventions through secure, user-friendly digital platforms. Essential Responsibilities

Psychological Assessment & Evaluation Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments using virtual protocols Complete cognitive, academic, and social-emotional evaluations remotely Prepare detailed evaluation reports with evidence-based recommendations Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences Mental Health & Counseling Services Provide individual counseling sessions through secure video platforms Facilitate group counseling for students with common mental health needs Implement evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges Support students experiencing trauma, grief, and adjustment difficulties Crisis Response & Safety Planning Respond to mental health emergencies following established protocols Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive safety plans Coordinate with local emergency services and community mental health providers Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization services Educational Consultation Collaborate with virtual teachers on classroom management and accommodation strategies Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and child study team meetings Provide consultation on positive behavior support plans and interventions Support transition planning for students with special needs Required Qualifications

Professional Credentials Master's degree in School Psychology or related field Active Michigan school psychologist license Minimum 2 years of school-based psychological services experience Virtual or telehealth service delivery experience preferred Technical Requirements Reliable high-speed internet connection with backup options Professional workspace ensuring privacy for confidential sessions Proficiency with video conferencing and digital assessment platforms Strong problem-solving skills for technology troubleshooting Core Competencies Expertise in psychological assessment and intervention techniques Strong written and verbal communication abilities Knowledge of special education law and IEP processes Cultural competency with diverse student populations Professional Development
