A Special Education Teacher with expertise in Learning and Behavior Disorders (LBD) is needed to provide essential support at an elementary school in Berea, KY. This full-time contract position spans the entire school year, with students starting on August 25th.

Responsibilities include managing an elementary-level caseload of students with diverse learning needs, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with staff to deliver appropriate instruction and support. Due to current high behavioral needs within the classroom, vocational tasks are not part of this role at this time. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with students diagnosed with Learning and Behavior Disorders (LBD) Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Strong classroom management skills, particularly with students exhibiting challenging behaviors Experience in an elementary school setting is preferred Location: Berea, Kentucky Elementary School setting Benefits and Work Conditions: Full-time hours from approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week School year contract duration aligned with the academic calendar Qualified candidates who meet the criteria and are committed to supporting students with specialized learning needs are encouraged to apply.
