Create equitable educational access through professional sign language interpretation in virtual learning environments. Your expertise ensures deaf and hard of hearing students participate fully in academic instruction, social interactions, and educational opportunities. Interpretation Excellence
Deliver high-quality interpretation services across diverse educational settings including virtual classrooms, IEP meetings, and extracurricular activities. Adapt interpretation techniques to meet individual student needs while maintaining accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all communication exchanges. Educational Partnership
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, speech-language pathologists, and deaf education specialists. Provide valuable insights on communication access and student needs while participating in educational planning and accommodation discussions. Technology Integration
Utilize cutting-edge virtual interpretation platforms designed for educational environments. Our technology supports optimal visual quality, minimal latency, and seamless connectivity while accommodating various devices and learning management systems. Required Qualifications
3.5 EIPA score minimum with strong preference for 4.0 EIPA certification. Two years of educational interpreting experience required. Written EIPA, RID certification, or NIC certification with written component preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in virtual interpretation and educational technology essential. Career Growth
