Seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLCAs) for a full-time contract position during the 2025-2026 school year in Kilgore, TX. This opportunity involves working with middle school students in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support speech-language pathologists with middle school caseloads.
Assist in implementing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) strategies and IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.
Work with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome.
Provide therapy services aligned with established treatment plans.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school or healthcare settings.
Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred.
Familiarity with AAC devices and techniques.
Understanding of IEP development and implementation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
