About the Role
We are seeking a skilled
Human Resource Generalist
to join our client's team. This role is responsible for supporting and implementing HR initiatives that align with company-wide strategic goals. The HR Generalist will oversee multiple HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, training, performance management, policy implementation, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and safety programs. Salary Range:
$85,000 - $90,000 Key Responsibilities
Administer and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Manage employee engagement, safety initiatives, and company goals. Administer benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and workers compensation. Implement and maintain compensation programs; assist managers with job descriptions and salary surveys. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Partner with managers and employees to communicate HR policies and provide guidance. Lead recruitment efforts for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary employees. Oversee onboarding, orientations, and career pathing programs. Process payroll and review employee timecards. Participate in management, executive, and companywide meetings. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related HR experience preferred. SHRM-CP, PHR, or HR certification strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Professional office setting with moderate noise levels. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Equal Opportunity
