A special education teaching opportunity is available for an immediate start in the San Antonio, TX area, focusing on life skills instruction for elementary and intermediate students. This contract position serves 9-12 students per classroom, offering a supportive environment with assigned paraprofessional assistance to help meet diverse learning needs.

Collaborating with paraprofessionals to enhance classroom management and student engagement. Monitoring progress and adapting teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of students. Maintaining detailed communication with stakeholders about student development and educational goals. Qualifications sought: Valid special education certification. Content or generalist teaching certification. Experience working with students with disabilities in an elementary or intermediate school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Flexibility to work hours from either 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, depending on the assigned campus.
