This contract position is for a Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained classroom serving students in grades K-1 at an elementary school in Chicago, IL. The class currently includes 8 students, with the possibility of adding 1 or 2 more throughout the school year. Full-time hours are set at 33.35 per week, supported by a paraprofessional and a 1:1 aide to assist with classroom needs.
