Located in Norristown, PA, this contract opportunity spans the full school year within a K-12 educational setting, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication needs.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements. Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes. Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing student planning sessions. Maintain precise and timely records related to services provided and student progress. Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Valid Pennsylvania SLP License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs); Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification as an Educational Specialist or willingness to obtain certification. Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities.
