Job Summary
We are hiring a passionate and licensed
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join a supportive school team in
Orting, WA
for the 20252026 academic year. This position is
100% on-site
and focuses on serving
middle and high school students
with a moderate caseload of around 50 students. You will work independently no SLPA support so strong organizational and clinical skills are key! Responsibilities
Evaluate students using formal and informal speech-language assessments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs ( IEPs )
Provide direct speech and language therapy services (1:1 and small group)
Maintain progress notes and service logs per district and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and student success initiatives
Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and administrators
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws and ethical standards
Requirements
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Washington State SLP License
(required by start date)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
preferred;
CFY applicants
encouraged to apply
Experience with school-aged students, especially in middle and/or high school settings
Ability to manage caseload independently and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Nice to Have
Previous school-based or pediatric experience
Familiarity with online IEP systems and documentation tools
Bilingual or multicultural experience (not required, but a plus!)
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $55-60 (based on experience & certification level)
