This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers an opportunity to work closely with students in grades K-12 within an in-person setting in Prince Frederick, MD. The assignment begins on February 2nd and spans the entire school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on diverse learners.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering speech-language therapy focused on assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development. You will conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing, producing clear, detailed reports to support informed decision-making. This role requires comfort and skill in working with students aged 2 to 22 who have moderate to severe disabilities. Developing and maintaining Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives is essential, along with collaborating effectively with parents and educational staff to monitor and support student progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC, CFY completion, or School SLP certification
Experience delivering therapy across a range of communication and feeding needs
Proficiency in assessment and diagnostic procedures, including report writing
Ability to work effectively with students with moderate to severe disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with families and colleagues
Availability for full-time in-person work (35 hours per week)
