A high school self-contained classroom is seeking a dedicated educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) instruction. This contract role focuses on delivering personalized education to students who are deaf or hard of hearing and possess additional learning needs.

Delivering core academic instruction through accessible, differentiated teaching approaches incorporating visual supports. Utilizing American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods to facilitate full participation and comprehension during classroom activities. Candidates must hold valid Illinois certification as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher and demonstrate proficiency in ASL. Experience working with high school students across a spectrum of abilities is essential.
