This opportunity is for a High School Special Education Teacher focusing on Math for grades 9-12. The position involves supporting and uplifting math achievement within the special education department by providing tailored instruction to meet diverse learning needs. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 2, 2026, and requires working onsite.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver specialized math instruction aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance math outcomes Create and implement lesson plans that address varying abilities and learning styles Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with students, families, and administrators Qualifications and Experience: Full Pennsylvania state licensure in Special Education (Instructional I or II) is required, or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date Dual certification or strong background in both Special Education and High School Math instruction preferred Experience working with high school students with disabilities in inclusive or specialized settings Ability to create a motivating and supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth Excellent communication and teamwork skills Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (Onsite) Benefits and Perks: Competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $35.27 to $48.62 Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Weekly pay schedule This is a new position tailored to strengthen math support within the special education program.
