This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with expertise in high school math (Grades 912) to support a newly created position aimed at improving math achievement within the Special Education department. The role is located onsite in York, PA, and is contracted for the 20252026 school year, starting ASAP through June 2, 2026.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized math instruction tailored to the needs of high school students with disabilities. Collaborate with general education and special education staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) focused on math skill improvement. Utilize data-driven strategies to raise math scores within the special education population. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students. Qualifications: Full Pennsylvania licensure in Special Education (Instructional I or II); candidates able to obtain certification prior to start date will be considered. Dual certification or experience in both Special Education and high school math is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective math instruction for high school students with special needs. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
