We're expanding our virtual speech-language pathology services and seeking an experienced SLP to provide exceptional therapy to students in remote learning environments. This full-time remote position encompasses 37 hours per week, serving students across all grade levels in virtual educational settings. You'll manage a caseload of 50 students, delivering individualized speech and language therapy through interactive digital platforms that enhance traditional therapeutic approaches. Key Responsibilities
Therapeutic Interventions Deliver engaging individual and small group therapy sessions via secure platforms Address articulation, phonology, language processing, social communication, and fluency needs Utilize virtual reality and gamification elements to maintain student engagement Provide intensive intervention for students with complex communication needs Comprehensive Assessment Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations using telepractice protocols Administer standardized assessments with appropriate virtual modifications Complete detailed evaluation reports with evidence-based recommendations Present findings to multidisciplinary teams in virtual IEP meetings Family & Team Collaboration Train parents and caregivers in home-based intervention strategies Provide regular communication updates and progress reports Collaborate with virtual teachers on curriculum-based language goals Support transition planning for students moving between service levels Professional Development Stay current with telepractice research and best practices Participate in case study discussions and peer learning opportunities Contribute to program improvement and quality enhancement initiatives Mentor new staff in virtual service delivery techniques Qualification Requirements
Educational Background Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Current Ohio speech-language pathology license Minimum 2 years of educational or pediatric experience Technology Proficiency Experience with telepractice platforms and digital therapy tools Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup Troubleshooting abilities for technical challenges Clinical Expertise Strong knowledge of developmental speech and language disorders Experience with diverse populations and communication needs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of special education law and IEP processes Work Environment Benefits
