This full-time remote position encompasses 37.5 hours per week, serving students from preschool through high school in comprehensive virtual educational programs. You'll maintain a diverse caseload of 45-50 students, utilizing cutting-edge telepractice technology to deliver personalized speech and language interventions that achieve measurable student progress. Core Duties
Virtual Therapy Excellence Deliver dynamic individual and group speech therapy sessions through secure, interactive platforms Address comprehensive communication needs including articulation disorders, language processing deficits, pragmatic language challenges, and fluency disorders Implement creative virtual engagement strategies to maintain student attention and motivation Provide specialized interventions for students with developmental disabilities and complex communication profiles Assessment & Diagnostic Services Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations using validated telepractice assessment methods Complete formal and informal testing with appropriate cultural and linguistic considerations Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with specific, measurable goals and recommendations Actively participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and transition planning sessions Educational Integration Collaborate extensively with virtual teaching teams to support curriculum-based communication goals Provide professional consultation on communication accommodations and modifications Train school personnel in implementing speech and language support strategies Support family engagement through regular communication and home practice guidance Professional Leadership Stay current with telepractice research, technology advances, and best practice developments Participate in quality assurance reviews and outcome measurement initiatives Contribute to staff training and professional development programs Support new clinician orientation and mentorship activities Essential Qualifications
Professional Credentials Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Active Nevada speech-language pathology license Minimum 2 years of educational or pediatric clinical experience Technical Proficiency Expert-level skills with telepractice platforms and virtual therapy applications Strong troubleshooting abilities for technology-related challenges Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with backup solutions Professional workspace meeting telepractice privacy and quality standards Professional Skills Advanced knowledge of developmental speech and language disorders Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice implementation Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities Thorough understanding of special education law and compliance requirements Career Development
