A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 public school setting in Stafford, VA. This contract role provides in-person services Monday through Friday, focusing primarily on elementary students. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Special Education and play a key role in delivering individualized speech and language assessment and therapy that supports students with special education needs.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, articulation, and auditory screenings and evaluations for students referred for special education services. Serve as a core member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing to IEP development through assessment results and student observations. Provide consultation and support to school personnel regarding speech and language interventions and program development. Maintain effective communication with families, staff, and healthcare providers to monitor student progress. Deliver direct therapy services to students to enhance their communication skills for academic and social success. Minimum Qualifications: Active Virginia SLP license required. Experience working within school settings preferred, particularly with K-12 and elementary-aged students. Strong knowledge of all phases of special education evaluation and services. Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and collaborating with families and educators. Demonstrated skills in assessment, evaluation, consultation, and effective communication. Additional Skills and Experience Preferred: Credentials such as SLP-CCC, experience with pediatric populations, teletherapy, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), SLPA credentials in school or healthcare environments.
