Responsibilities include: Designing and delivering individualized lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Utilizing specialized teaching strategies and assistive technologies to support student learning. Collaborating with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and families to ensure a comprehensive educational experience. Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction to meet academic goals. Advocating for student needs within the school community to promote accessibility and inclusion. Preferred qualifications: Valid teaching certification with specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to create engaging, accessible curricula that meet state standards. The position is located in Longmont, Colorado, serving students across grades K through 12 during the contracted school year.
