Seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the 2025-2026 school year in Copperopolis, CA. This part-time, itinerant position supports students in grades K-8 and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant K-12 educational setting.

Position Details: Duration: August 15, 2025 June 5, 2026 Schedule: 20 hours per week, in-person Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 8th grade Role Type: Itinerant teacher supporting multiple classrooms and locations as needed Primary Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, staff, and families to ensure seamless integration and support of students communication and educational goals. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Facilitate communication access through the use of assistive technologies and language accommodations. Provide guidance and resources to educators and families on best practices for supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Travel between assigned schools or classrooms as needed to serve students in multiple locations. Desired Qualifications: Valid teaching credential with certification or endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with K-8 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Strong knowledge of educational strategies, language acquisition, and assistive technology for Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule across various locations.
