20252026 Position Overview

Soliant is seeking a

full-time School Social Worker

to join our Student Services team for the 20252026 school year. The ideal candidate will bring compassion, cultural competence, and a strong understanding of social-emotional learning to serve students across a variety of grade levels. Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges

Conduct social developmental studies and assist in special education evaluations

Collaborate with families, staff, and community agencies to support students' well-being

Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavior intervention plans

Provide crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning

Promote and deliver SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) programming in classrooms

Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community-based supports

Contribute to a positive, safe, and equitable school climate

Required Qualifications

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred

Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive weekly pay: $40 $55 per hour (based on experience)
