A K-12 school in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized behavioral support throughout the current school year on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students across various grade levels, implementing evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistency in behavior management.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to school staff on applied behavior analysis techniques.
Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to intervention plans.
Participate in team meetings to support student academic and social-emotional development.
Desired Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Experience working in K-12 educational settings is preferred.
Strong understanding of behavior assessment and intervention methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to develop training materials and deliver presentations to educators and parents.
